Welcome to Logwood Entertainment, home of Logwood Productions and Coal Pit Recording.  Logwood is the hot new sound out of the Bronx.  Whether it’s soca, roots and culture, dancehall, hip-hop, RnB, or soul, Logwood comfortably spans the spectrum.

Founded in the autumn of 2001 by Greame “I-Adon” Samuels, Logwood’s function was to work as a production company creating music and providing a wide range of services for artists within a hospitable environment.  The feedback was positive and in a short space of time a core of artists, musicians and producers began to contribute to what has become known as the Logwood Sound. 

The production team consists of Greame “I-Adon” Samuels, Nigel “Despret One” Roberts, Silas Carty, Junior “Guzzy” Meade, Denny “Skala” Bramble, Khari Samuels, Black Gold, Ras Makonnen, Milton Henry, Claudette Lovejoy and The Lunatiq Band.  In addition to creating their own sound Logwood  works and collaborates with several other producers including Bitter Knight, Flico, Rebel One and Shashemane Movement.   

Currently, the Logwood mission is to spread Blazin Red Hot tracks worldwide.  Industry and Indie artists, Music-lovers looking for fresh sounds, and members of the broadcast community alike are including the Logwood Sound in their productions

Both MTV and BET now blaze Logwood’s unique tracks to bring red hot flavor to their programming.  Logwood produced “Stamma” for Kulcha Don’s It’s All About You-RuffNation’s first 2006 album release.  Logwood has produced a number of singles for AV8, a slew of songs for independent artists, and several full-length albums featuring Logwood artists.

Logwood artists also perform regularly and are backed by the Lunatiq band when possible.  Recently Logwood rocked Reebok’s 2006 Human Rights Award ceremonies in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
